15 Sayings Every Mom Can Relate To
As we approach French Mother’s Day this weekend I would like to share with all the moms out there a special set of greeting cards to mark the occasion. It’s a collection of random expressions most of us will be more than familiar with. As it turns out all moms, independent of location, background and level of fatigue speak a universal language every kid understands.
Happy Mother’s Day!
1. M is for Mom
2. What part?
3. My roof
4. Tongue
5. Soap & water
6. One day
7. Forget
8. Bed
9. Why?
10. Life
11. Face
12. I don’t know
13. Father
14. No!
15. Baby
I love you Mom!

First of all Happy Mother’s Day . Second I can’t count how many times I have used those saying . Again Ms. Abby you are on point and still Hilarious? . Ms. You are such a Ray of Sunshine Thank You for All You Do ?.
Dear Gloria,
Thank you so much for all those kind words! Happy to hear you enjoyed the little list. You say Ray of sunshine and I blush 🙂 Happy Mother’s Day to you too! x Abby
So many of these ring true for me, I am ESPECIALLY guilty of saying “Because I SAID SO!” My mother said many of these you listed, and I do find myself saying to my husband all too often “I sound just like my mother”. I also say a lot of “I’m telling you not to do this, not because I’m difficult, but because you are going to hurt yourself.” Ugh. I guess mothers all over the world have to repeat themselves over and over and over and children still have to learn the hard way, don’t they?!
I wish you a lovely Mother’s Day, Abby. The greatest gift would be if just for ONE DAY you don’t have to use any of the sayings on your cards!
xxxx, Lisa
Thank you Lisa for this beautiful massage. The first one definitely tops my list. I hope when my kids grow up I won’t have to resume to most of these, except the last one: because they’re always be my babies 🙂 Happy Mother’s Day to you too! xx Abby
So I finally sit to take a break from packing/cleaning, I log on to catch up on your blog & what’s the first saying?
Only the last words I just said! Hahahaha!
Of course it goes without saying absolutely NOBODY heard me. Lazy little brats 😉
As always you hit that point bang on Abby, how the hell do you know!
Lots of love xxx
Thank you Michelle for stopping by! Ah, the first one, it really sums it up doesn’t it? Me, when nothing else works I always stick to No 13, and then there’s silence (I wish 😉 ). Happy Mother’s Day to you Michelle! xx Abby
We definitely all speak the same language! Glad to see you back! I’ve missed you.
I’ve missed you too, Rena! I’ve had some bad news recently (again) and needed some time to reflect on things. Thank you for stopping by. Happy Mother’s day to you! xx Abby
