11 Humorous Thoughts On Wellness & Health
In case you’ve missed me, I’m back π My apologies for the long silence but as some of you know I’ve had pretty good reasons to step away from the limelight.
I’m still nowhere near full recovery, but I’m not giving up (I’ve already given up gluten, sugar, toxins, non-oranic food, even meat (yes, Lisa) so there’s not much left to give up, really π )
Having said that, I still have my occasional glass of Champagne and LadurΓ©e macarons (and my, was I happy to discover that they’re actually gluten free!)
In the meantime please enjoy these little humorous bits:
1. Sleep
2. Stress Ball
3. Hair
4. Salad
5. Specialist
6. Plastic surgery
7. Meals
8. Emergency
9. Anesthesia
10. IQ
11. Seafood
P.S
As some of you have noticed I cancelled the Midlifecrisisnut App (hence the “gone fishing” sign). Please accept my apologies.

about it Women .π Yes I was going to give you the Mommy face
. Now that you have explained yourself I’m good now .

Dear Gloria,
You have no idea how much I’ve missed you! I felt so guilty about not writing and not being around much, but I just needed to really focus on my health right now. When you saw me in Paris I was doing so much better. Now, I just have these autoimmune flair ups and it’s hard to do anything or concentrate, hence the long absence. I think about you too a lot and miss you sooooooo much! Thank you for not giving up on me and being there for me! You are a true Blessing!!!! Plus, you got me with that Whiskey Smooth as Hell π
Sending you lots of love β€οΈπ

I’m SO glad you’re back and I’m SOOOOO glad you’re feeling better. I’m also a tiny bit glad that you’re not eating meat π I’m totally with you on the no sugar regime; it is astonishing to me how much better I feel without sugar in my life. I say this as someone who has been properly PROPERLY addicted to sugar for my entire life. I know in another few months you will just get stronger and stronger and stronger, Abby.
These are all so funny that I’m going to have to go back and re-read them again. Number 8 is my favourite so far; my mother panics about everything so I definitely would rather have a doctor than her as my emergency contact! Number 9 is great too.
It is so nice to see you back in my Inbox and online, and I’m sending you love and strength and oodles of wellness. xxx
Thank you so much Lisa! I miss you Girls soooooo much! I was thinking about your new exciting ventures and thought that’s the way to do Girls! You’re the best! As for the sugar, I’ve been a sugar junkie all my life ( I guess that’s partially to blame for my health problems) and it felt so empowering to break that nasty habit. The gluten stuff I still find a bit complicated but since my hubby is gluten-free too it helps. And the vegetarian thing was a natural decision that has been maturing in me for a long time. Many changes so far and apparently it takes time, anywhere from 1-2 years to become symptom free, so I just stick to what works. Sending you lots of love! β€οΈπ

This is incredible! I’m in awe of how well you’re doing, can’t imagine how complicated grocery shopping must get thinking about meals ugh…Good on you for sticking with it babe xx
Oh my goodness Abby I seem to have missed this notification somehow, apologies honey bee. I understand you’re struggling at the moment, we all do from time to time although you have so much more to cope with than I do. As much as I’ve missed your hilarious posts I would much rather you concentrate on getting well. Unless of course blogging is a nice distraction? I wish this terrible disease would bugger off & leave you alone! Lots of love & hugs to you my darling friend xxx
Thank you so much Michelle! You’re the sweetest! I see you got the memo from Lisa, so you know where I am right now. Like you said, I will concentrate a bit more now on getting better. I did some progress but it’s still a long way to go. It’s a pain in the butt the whole thing and I will do my uttermost possible to get where I was a few years ago. Sending you lots of love! xx Abby
